SMS Messaging Disclosure

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

Sender Relationship

Messages are sent by client clinics via Recura AI, Inc. acting as a messaging provider. Recura AI, Inc. facilitates SMS messaging services on behalf of healthcare clinics and medical spas that have contracted with Recura AI, Inc. for messaging services.

How Consent Is Collected

Clients opt in to receive text messages from a Business in one of two ways:

  1. By texting the Business first. When a client sends a text message to a Business's published phone number, they initiate a conversation and consent to receive reply messages related to their inquiry.
  2. By verbal consent during a phone call. When a client calls a Business, the receptionist collects the client's phone number and asks for permission to send text messages, using the consent script published at /legal/sms-consent.

After consent is collected, you receive a confirmation reply when applicable. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Review our Terms and Privacy Policy.

The confirmation reply states: "[Business Name]: You're now subscribed to recurring SMS updates. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."

Consent Scope

By opting in, you consent to receive appointment and customer-care SMS messages, including:

  • Transactional messages: Appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates
  • Customer-care messages: Follow-ups related to your questions, requested services, or relationship with the clinic

Message Terms

Message frequency varies based on your relationship with the clinic and your preferences. Standard message and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile carrier. Recura AI, Inc. is not responsible for any charges incurred as a result of receiving SMS messages.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt-out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP: Reply with the word "STOP" to any message to opt-out of future messages. You will receive a confirmation message confirming your opt-out.
  • Replying HELP: Reply with the word "HELP" to receive assistance and information about the messaging service.
  • Contacting the clinic: You may also contact the clinic directly to request removal from SMS messaging lists.

After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages. You may opt back in at any time by texting the business location's published phone number first or by giving verbal consent during a phone call.

No Resale Clause

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with, sold to, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are used solely for the purpose of sending messages on behalf of the clinic with which you have a relationship.
