- Metadata: We collect metadata associated with SMS messages, including but not limited to timestamps, delivery status, read receipts (when available), message direction (inbound/outbound), and associated clinic identifiers.
- Opt-in Information: We maintain records of how and when you provided consent to receive SMS messages, including inbound messages sent to a business, verbal consent collected during a call, the business location phone number contacted, and related confirmation records.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Sending SMS Messages: We use your phone number and message content to send SMS messages on behalf of clinics that have contracted with Recura AI, Inc. for messaging services. Phone numbers collected for the SMS program are used only to deliver the appointment, customer-care, and inquiry-response messages described in our SMS consent notice.
- Service Delivery: We process message content and metadata to deliver transactional appointment and customer-care messages as requested by clinics.
- Compliance and Record-Keeping: We maintain records of consent and message history to comply with legal requirements and to assist clinics in managing their communications.
- Service Improvement: We may analyze aggregated, anonymized data to improve our messaging services and platform functionality.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With Clinics: We share phone numbers, message content, and metadata with the clinic(s) with which you have a relationship. Clinics use this information to manage appointments, provide services, and communicate with you.
- With Infrastructure Providers: We share necessary information with third-party infrastructure providers, including SMS gateway providers and cloud hosting services, solely for the purpose of delivering SMS messages and operating our platform. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, or investigate fraud or security issues.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with, sold to, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. - Deletion: You may request deletion of your information, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
